Japan’s most beautiful and famous wisteria flowers bloomed earliest in history!

Ashikaga Flower Park, the most famous wisteria garden in Japan, bloomed on April 5, about a week earlier than last year.

This is the earliest bloom date in the history of observation. Depending on the future weather conditions, it is expected to be earlier as to when the best time to see the flowers will be. If you are planning to visit Japan for wisteria, please be careful.

When is the best time to see wisteria in Japan?

The following is the best time to see the wisteria at Ashikaga Flower Park, the most famous and most powerful wisteria in Japan. Please use it as a reference.

More than 350 wisteria trees bloom in this park. The order of blooming differs according to the color of the wisteria. The order of blooming is light red, purple, white, and yellow, and can be enjoyed for about one month.

Usukuben wisteria (cherry-colored dazzling wisteria)

Big wisteria (Wisteria trellis with 600 tatami mats, 160 years old, is designated as a natural monument by Tochigi Prefecture.)

Double-flowered black dragon wisteria (large wisteria with extremely rare double-flowered clusters)

Kibana wisteria

●normal flowering period:Early May to mid-May.

Azaleas (more than 5,000 plants)
