In March, Okinawa gets warmer all at once, and although there is a little more precipitation than in January and February, it does not mean that it rains all the time, but it falls more in a short period of time, which is fine for sightseeing. In late March, you can enjoy swimming at many beaches, and since the number of Japanese tourists increases in March, it is advisable to make flight and hotel reservations as early as possible.

What should I wear in Okinawa in March?

In the first half of March, you will still need a spring jacket; in the second half of March, it will be much warmer, so a light jacket will be fine. Many people walk around in short-sleeved shirts during sunny days. However, the sun is very strong, so we recommend that you bring some anti-ultraviolet cream.
