The lead author of this site is a former reporter for the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (NIKKEI), the world’s largest economic newspaper. He lives in Tokyo with his family. He has a wife and two sons. He is an ordinary Japanese man who wants his family to be happy. He worked for 31 years as a writer for Nikkei and as an editor in the culture and lifestyle topics section at the Tokyo headquarters. He covered many places in Japan and wrote many articles. He was also in charge of video media about Japan. He loves adventure and trying new things. After moving to a venture company in Shibuya, Tokyo, he now spends much of his time improving the quality of information on JAPANICLE.com.
