According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the rainy season in Okinawa usually lasts from around May 10th to around June 21st. However, as early as the beginning of May, the rainy season may begin. In some cases, it may continue until the beginning of July.
What should I wear in Okinawa in June?
In June, summer clothes with short sleeves are basically fine in Okinawa. However, it is advisable to bring a lightweight long-sleeved shirt since air conditioning is in effect in hotels and other places.
