If you want to explore the biggest shrine in Tokyo, I recommend going to Meiji Jingu. The Meiji Jingu Shrine has the widest forest next to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. The shrine is approximately 73 hectares in size. Go through the approach surrounded by deep forest and you will find a huge main shrine. If you are lucky, you can witness the wedding procession as shown on this page.
