Japan has about 110 active volcanoes, equivalent to 7% of the world. As a result, there are many hot springs. The volcanoes teach us the fear, beauty and appreciation of nature. If you want to feel such a volcano up close, I recommend going to Aso in Kyushu. I also recommend going to Beppu, located 90 km northeast of Aso. In Beppu, the largest hot spring town in Japan, you can feel the strength of volcanic magma!
