After late March, the temperature in Tokyo will rise significantly. In April, there are days when the maximum temperature exceeds 25 degrees. It’s warm, so you will no longer see people wearing a coat in the city.
However, there are days when it gets cold at night. Therefore, if you go to see cherry blossoms at night, take a spring coat or a jumper.
As it may rain in April, please carry an umbrella.
Sometimes it feels hot in late April. In town, people who warm easily will begin to wear short sleeve clothes. Every time it rains, the leaves of the trees grow and become a more beautiful and fresh green.

In early April, cherry blossoms will be in full bloom in Tokyo. Basically, there will be more consistent warm days. But please be careful as it is still a little cold in the morning and evening. Even though the days are warm, the mornings and evenings can still be chilly, so please come prepared with warm clothing.

By mid-April you will no longer feel too cold in the morning and evening. In the daytime, there are days warm enough to break a sweat when running.
A down jacket is not necessary for this time of year in Tokyo. However, if you are visiting Tohoku or Hokkaido, it is still a bit chilly, so you will need to wear thicker clothing.
The petals of the cherry blossoms fall quite a bit. On the other hand, the fresh green of the trees becomes beautiful by day. Various flowers also begin to bloom.

In late April, Tokyo has its most comfortable days. It is neither cold nor hot. Cherry petals are completely scattered, but the newly green trees are really beautiful.
The best season for travel has arrived. Cherry blossoms are still blooming in northern Japan (Tohoku) and Hokkaido. Many vegetables and fruits that are most delicious at this time of year are also available.
From around April 29th, in Japan, the “golden week” of many holidays starts. There are very many Japanese tourists traveling in and out of the country. Hotels, planes and Shinkansen in Japan are very crowded. So I recommend that you make early reservations.
