If you want to visit the most sacred places in Japan, I recommend going to Koyasan in Wakayama Prefecture. Koyasan is a sacred place of Buddhism established 1200 years ago. It is about 2 hours by express train and cable car from Namba in Osaka. You can stay at temple inns called “shukubo”. You will be healed in a quiet world.
