Photos: Icicles in Chichibu in the severe winter season

In the Chichibu Mountains, about 120 kilometers northwest of Tokyo, you can see spectacular icicles from mid-January to mid-February. In this area, the spring water seeping from the rock freezes. In addition, artificial icicles are also made. Chichibu is recommended along with Hakone and Kamakura as a day trip destination from Tokyo.
